Andreas Münch MD, PhD, assoc. Prof. is a gastroenterologist working in the Faculty of Health Science, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Department of Clinical and Experimental Medicine, at Linköpings University, Linköping, Sweden.
Dr. Münch is current President of the European Microscopic Colitis Group (EMCG). Dr. Münch has also served on many NIH, AHA, AA review panels, and has reviewed for many journals. Dr. Münch has many peer reviewed publications in the field of microscopic colitis and is funded by several foundations.
He is senior author of the European guidelines on microscopic colitis: United European Gastroenterology (UEG) and European Microscopic Colitis Group (EMCG) statements and recommendations published in 2020.
